Die Manchester Monarchs waren eine Eishockeymannschaft aus der American Hockey League. Sie spielten von 2001 bis 2015 in Manchester, New Hampshire in der Verizon Wireless Arena (10.019 Plätze).
Die Monarchs wurden 2001 als Farmteam der Los Angeles Kings (NHL) gegründet. Ihr erstes Spiel spielten sie am 6. Oktober 2001 gegen die Lowell Lock Monsters und verloren 6:3. Ihren ersten Sieg errangen sie eine Woche später gegen die Norfolk Admirals. In ihrer Historie gewannen sie einmal ihre Division (2004/05) sowie in der Saison 2014/15 den Calder Cup.
Im Januar 2015 gab die American Hockey League eine umfangreiche Umstrukturierung zur Saison 2015/16 bekannt, in deren Rahmen eine neue Pacific Division gegründet wurde und fünf Teams nach Kalifornien übersiedelten. Dies betraf auch die Manchester Monarchs, die mit den Ontario Reign aus der ECHL die Plätze tauschten. Somit spielen die Ontario Reign fortan in der AHL, während die Manchester Monarchs als neues ECHL-Franchise etabliert wurden. Beide Mannschaften waren und bleiben Kooperationspartner der LA Kings.
